About

Working with me is meant to feel calm, supportive, and collaborative. I aim to create a space where you can speak openly, reflect honestly, and explore what you are experiencing without feeling judged, rushed, or pressured to “have it all figured out.” I work primarily with adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, uncertain, or simply wanting a better understanding of themselves. Many of the people I support are navigating stress, emotional difficulties, relationship concerns, identity questions, or major life transitions. Having lived in Japan for over a decade, I am particularly familiar with the challenges that can arise from cultural differences between Japanese society and foreign backgrounds. I often work with clients who are navigating cross-cultural relationships, communication difficulties, identity concerns, or the emotional impact of living abroad, and I support them in finding ways to move through these experiences with greater clarity and balance. Rather than focusing on quick fixes or labels, I place emphasis on understanding your experiences at a deeper level and helping you develop greater self-awareness and emotional resilience over time.
