My journey to becoming a therapist began with my own time in counselling. Through that process, I came to recognise, understand, and accept the grief and trauma in my own life. It was a powerful, sometimes painful experience but it changed me in ways I never thought possible. Having a safe space to be heard without judgement was life-changing, and it inspired me to train as a therapist so I could offer that same opportunity to others.
