I am a person-centred therapist and work with you according to the needs we identify. I have also trained in CBT and may use some strategies usually associated with CBT if that is helpful. For those who are new to therapy I will take time to explain new ideas and ways of working. This is a gentle approach to therapy and clients are not asked to explore areas where they are really not comfortable. Good, effective therapy does require a commitment to the process from the therapist and the client.
