I am an Italian psychotherapist naturalized British. My experience within the mental health field started back in 2012, after my graduation in Italy, when I began working in an acute psychiatric ward for a couple of years. My journey continued in the UK, where I have been for almost 9 years and where I moved as I wanted to become a Psychotherapist. During those years, I gather a great deal of experience in working across multicultural clinical settings, with both young adults and adults. I worked for many years in a psychiatric Intensive care unit (PICU) as Psychologist, alongside several professional figures involved in our patients' care. After my PGDip in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I started working in a Talking Therapies service. Working with diverse client groups from a range of different ages, ethnicities, cultures, and beliefs has taught to tailor the evidence-based cbt protocols to my clients’ needs.
