Growing up in the Middle East I have a good insight and understanding of the experience of Third Culture Kids, as well as expatriates/ immigrants, those who move around a lot/ live in different cultures to their Country of origin and may be missing a sense of belonging. I have been practicing as a psychotherapist/ counsellor/ play therapist in the UK and internationally (via Skype/Zoom) for over 15 years and have been privileged to experience working with a broad spectrum of life experience, specialising in trauma, abuse, bereavement, neurodiversity; particular interests include abuse of power, intersectionality humanitarian issues and social justice. My work has covered many charities, educational institutes, health services and independent private practice which has welcomed low income and the homeless, refugees, those on state benefits, celebrities and those in positions of power or with high profile public platforms.
