Dr Kass has over 20 years of clinical experience, offers in person therapy and psychological-educational assessments to residents in Romania, virtual therapy to residents in Virginia and Florida and virtual coaching sessions serving expat parents, teens and families worldwide. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for children and teens. My goal is to understand my clients thinking, find the gaps in their skills and then teach coping strategies to help them be more successful. My dissertation research in Greece at a school with an International Baccalaureate Honors Program informs my approach to expat therapy and coaching. Moreover, my personal experience as an expat in Italy, Greece, Turkey and Romania, and raising third culture kids (TCK) provides me with a continual, additional insights that have proven useful to helping other expats live their best lives abroad.
