Hi! I’m Molly Toomey, MSW, LCSW. I’m a queer American therapist, social worker, and migrant living in Germany. I work online with international clients from my home base in Germany, where I am a psychosocial counselor and state-recognized social worker. I am also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in my home state of Connecticut, USA, and I welcome counseling clients who currently live in CT. My mission is to provide affirming, accessible, trauma-informed mental health support to folks who live outside the mainstream and often feel misunderstood or unseen—to offer an affirming, safer space for folks to reflect, explore, feel the feelings, experiment, learn, heal, and grow. I am passionate about the intersections of mental health and social justice and am here to disrupt the usual therapist/client dynamics through radically relational, affirming mental health support and education.
