I am a certified clinical psychologist and integrative psychotherapist with additional diplomas in person-centred/Gestalt counselling and the treatment of food-related disorders. I provide psychotherapy and counselling for adults and adolescents dealing with stress, anxiety, depression and low mood, low self-esteem, problems with school and work, relationship difficulties, food-related problems, bereavements and other life-changing events. The integrative approach is based on full acceptance of, and warm regard for human diversity, and on the belief that every individual possesses the resources for identifying and applying personalised solutions to difficult life situations. Born and raised in Ireland, I worked and studied in Germany for 13 years and have lived in Italy since 1998. I have provided counselling and psychotherapy for numerous foreign residents and visiting students.
