I am a counsellor and clinical supervisor. For a number of years I have worked with trauma and sexual and domestic abuse with both young people and adults. The impact of trauma often goes unacknowledged and is misunderstood by others. Trauma can have a continuous and wide-ranging impact unless explored. I have a person-centred approach and I believe that we each have the innate ability to move forward but at times, accessing this ability can feel impossible.
