What is counselling or therapy? It can sound quite scary to some and there are so many different types it's confusing. In a nutshell, I see counselling as having someone to talk to who will support you to explore and understand your thoughts, emotions and behaviours with a view to understanding yourself better, making a change, coming to a decision about something and improving your overall wellbeing.
