My core training is psychodynamic, an approach which helps connect your current issues and your emotional responses (or lack of them), to past experiences and/or relationships. This traditional therapy believes that talking through your issues with a therapist can help clients to gain relief by expressing their painful emotions. Talking also helps to reveal areas of ‘stuckness’, unhelpful thinking patterns and outdated coping strategies.
