I am a registered psychologist with AHPRA in Australia and HPCSA in South Africa. I have experience in dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, identity and self-esteem issues, sexual abuse, ASD, ADHD (neurodiversity affirming), LGBTIQA+ affirming, cultural diversity and chronic health conditions (HIV and cancer), aged care In Australia I have worked with clients referred by medicare, work cover, NDIS, private health, university student counselling and DVA/Open Arms, Queensland health PHN and in aged care. I have worked at group practices as well as in an NGO/charity. In South Africa I have worked in private practice as well as at a university counselling centre consulting with students and training final year psychologists for over 10 years. I have also worked in HIV testing and counselling programmes as well as at a high school in the role of a school psychologist. I have a special interest in assisting with processing the social trauma experienced by people who have experienced social exclusion in areas such as neurodiversity, gender identity, culture, disability, race. I currently work with adults and older teens who are able to consent independently to their own therapy.
