People come to therapy for many reasons. Sometimes something clear has happened - a breakup, pressure at work, family tension, or loss. Other times, it’s harder to explain: feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or not quite yourself, without knowing why. Therapy can provide a space to pause, breathe, and discuss honestly what’s going on, without having to cope on your own. For some people, therapy is about getting through a challenging time.
