About

For over 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of hearing people’s powerful stories. I believe the way we tell our own story shapes how we think, feel, and live and that you are the true expert on yourself. My role is to walk alongside you as we uncover the strengths and wisdom you already hold. Having worked with ethnically diverse adults, couples, and families across Canada, the United States, and India; this experience has deepened my respect for the unique cultural and personal identities each person brings. My therapeutic style is influenced by my training in clinical psychology and my South Asian roots. Blending western psychology and eastern philosophy enables me to offer a holistic approach to therapy. In therapy, I draw from some of the most effective therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioural (CBT, DBT), emotion-focused, attachment-based, and mindfulness-based therapies. Additionally, I am informed in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and trained in EMDR which enables me to support individuals in processing traumatic experiences and working toward healing as well as understanding and reconcile internal conflicts by identifying and engaging with different parts of the Self.
