Narrative therapy in an approach that affirms the life story and experiences of the client. It can be an empowering and affirming exploration of different possibilities to life challenges. Based on the need of the client, CBT and Impact Therapy approaches are powerful therapy modalities that I use to work with depression, anxiety and other psychosocial life challenges. I offer therapy both in-person and online. I am available for sessions most weekdays after hours. The practice submits claims on behalf of the client to their medical aid. In dealing with life's challenges and pressures people may often find themselves feeling demotivated, discouraged and stuck. The demands of different life roles and multiple responsibilities may often lead to high stress levels and even a sense of burnout. Through counselling and therapy life challenges can be explored, and through a problem solving and impactful approach it could bring about solutions to foster new resilience, wellbeing and meaning.
