About

The base of how I work is in the dialogue between person-centered and psychodynamic approaches; however, when appropriate, I may also draw on tools such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), body awareness, or mindfulness to support your process. I hold a Master's in Counselling from the University of Edinburgh, where my research focused on cross-cultural work. Additionally, I have worked at Saheliya in Edinburgh, supporting minority ethnic women, and co-founded The YANA Foundation in Zambia, promoting youth mental health. I am currently open to new clients on Wednesday mornings. My counselling practice centres around the belief that real change happens through relationship—through being truly seen, heard, and accepted as you are. In our sessions, we will work to develop that kind of connection not only between us but also within yourself.
