I have worked in the NHS for 20 years and Independent Practice for over 10 years. I have gained experience of working in a variety of services with people from a range of backgrounds (e.g. Primary Care Adult Mental Health Services, Community Mental Health Teams, Older People’s Services, Adult Learning Disability Services). In addition to my clinical work, I have experience of managing services and providing specialist consultation to clients, families, organisations and other professionals. I have lectured at University College London (UCL) and Royal Holloway University, and provided specialist training to a number of services and organisations. My training, skills and experience enable me to offer a dynamic, flexible, collaborative and tailored approach to suit your individual needs and help you work towards making positive changes in your life. I specialise in working with individuals, couples and families experiencing difficulties related to depression, stress, generalised anxiety (including worry), relationship issues, social anxiety, health anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), panic attacks, low self-esteem, health anxiety, phobias and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I also provide support to people who would generally like to further enhance their lives and improve their psychological wellbeing. I offer a warm, empathic, non-judgemental and confidential space where you can discuss your concerns, problems or how you would like to enhance your life. I will support you to explore and foster an understanding of these difficulties, then help you develop ways to overcome them, building on your strengths and maximising your potential. I work in Central London and Iver, Buckinghamshire. If you would like to have an initial chat about how I may be able to support you please do not hesitate to contact me.
