I am a Board-Certified Clinical Psychologist currently serving clients across 40+ states via telehealth. As a South Asian woman, I understand the complex cultural and societal norms and values of our community that can significantly impact our mental health. As both the child of immigrants and being an immigrant myself, I understand how it feels to constantly be caught between two cultures. My practice is evidence-based and culturally-informed, allowing me to tailor treatment for each individual client’s specific needs. I utilize both Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques in my practice while always maintaining an empathic, person-centered approach. In addition to providing therapy, I also conduct psychological evaluations/assessments for adolescents and adults to provide diagnostic clarity for ADHD, personality testing, pre-employment, reality TV casting etc. Moreover, I serve as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Emory University School of Medicine where I’m involved in supervision and teaching. On a more personal note, I have a diverse background: born in India, raised in Toronto and currently living in Atlanta, GA-all places that I love dearly! In my free time, I enjoy learning my mom’s recipes and spending time with my husband and our sons.
