Are you feeling weighed down by expectations from yourself, your family, or society? Do you find yourself caught between cultures and identities, unsure of how to find balance? As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision, I work with clients to navigate these challenges and build a more grounded, authentic, and fulfilling life. Over the years, I have worked in residential programs, hospitals, universities, and private practice. While at Northwestern University, I supported many international students, most from South Asia, which deepened my understanding of the stressors that come with adjusting to new environments, managing high expectations, and navigating identity. My doctoral research focused on cultural dissonance among Asian Indian immigrant families, a topic close to my heart as the child of Indian immigrants myself. In my practice, I take a person-centered approach, meaning you are always at the center of the work we do together. From there, I integrate evidence-based strategies that are tailored to your specific needs and goals. My style is warm, collaborative, and flexible, and I want you to feel truly seen and supported as we work through the challenges you are facing. I especially enjoy working with South Asian and other international clients who are navigating anxiety, stress, cultural identity, or life transitions. If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out for a consultation. I would love to connect and see if we are a good fit to work together.
