I am excited to meet you! I am a Licensed Therapist w/ 15 yrs of experience working w/ teens, adults and families. I am a first generation immigrant who was born in India and moved to USA at the age of 14. I understand and can relate to the challenges faced with practicing values from two contrasting culture. I have worked with individuals from various cultures struggling with stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, divorce, infertility, and more. I specialize in working w/ clients specifically struggling w/ shame, guilt or perfectionism that often trigger feelings of inadequacy and increase self doubts. I teach and help clients to practice self-compassion to counter shame and self-criticism. I am also a mother to two pre-teen boys and enjoy working with both teens and parents to help repair and strengthen the bond between them.
