Hello and welcome I am a qualified Psychodynamic Psychotherapist based in London, UK, offering a confidential and non-judgemental space for you to talk with someone trained at listening to what may be happening for you at a deeper level. We will seek to understand and articulate the conflicts, fears and anxieties you feel inside, with the aim of bringing about meaningful and lasting change. Sessions are for 5o minutes and are usually held at the same time each week. I offer sessions either in-person or online/phone. Starting therapy To start, I offer without charge a brief phone call for us to understand what you are looking for and how I may help, and to discuss practical arrangements such as availability and fees. We can then decide whether to proceed with an initial consultation session for which I do charge a fee. This initial consultation would be to explore in more depth what brings you to therapy and what you may hope to gain from it. It will also be an opportunity to hear more about your background, understand what a psychodynamic approach means and whether it feels right for you, and address any questions or concerns you might have about starting therapy. To get in touch you can email me at: [email protected] About me I trained at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust, which is a specialist NHS trust with a focus on training and mental health services and therapies. I am a full member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC), the leading professional association for the psychoanalytic profession, and adhere to their code of ethics and practice. I am also a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Prior to being a psychotherapist, I worked for over 20 years in the private, academic and charity sectors. These experiences and an interest in culture and society help to inform my psychotherapeutic understanding of the complex terrain of daily life.
