About

I’m an accredited Person Centred Trauma Specialist Psychotherapist & Wellness Coach and I have extensive experience of working with clients who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence and post-traumatic stress disorder. I have also successfully helped numerous clients, both male and female, tackle a wide range of issues. Examples of these are anxiety, depression, anger management, problems with relationships, family issues, trauma, shame, cultural identity, discrimination, bullying, career counselling, life coaching, bereavement, loss, loneliness, emotional abuse, narcissistic emotional abuse, addiction, low self-confidence, low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts and life stresses. This means that if you are looking for help and support in any of these areas mentioned above (and many more), I would be able to work with you to give you the support you want and need. I have worked at the Woman’s Trust, Wandsworth Bereavement Service, One in Four and within the NHS for The Havens, Kings College London. I have worked in part-time private practice for over 11 years where I love the autonomy of working with your best interests at heart. What a therapy session would look like for you During your therapy sessions you’ll learn more about yourself as you start to build a trustworthy therapeutic relationship with me. It may be daunting to have to share your personal details with a stranger, and I can completely understand how that may be for you. I hope to use my professional credentials and experiences to support you as best as I can, so that you will feel welcomed from the very start of your courageous journey. By discussing what is happening for you and working together with me through further exploration of your experiences, it will mean you will start a process of becoming aware with why you think the way you do, how you come to think that way and what you can do about that to create the changes you want for yourself. Being aware of your thoughts, feelings and way of being in a safe, non-judgemental and empathic therapeutic relationship with me, will mean I am supporting you every step of the way, which will allow you to unlock your thinking patterns and create new ways of thinking. What you can expect from counselling You are the expert of your life, no one knows you better than you do. Your thoughts, feelings and experiencing are all unique to you. With my professional experience, I would be able to work with you to identify what you need to do to keep yourself fulfilled, and to be the best you can be. Being in a therapeutic relationship with you means we will work together to help you to where you want to be. And that can be in whatever form that takes so that you can get what you want and need from your counselling space. I’m passionate about psychotherapy and I would want to help you with your emotional and psychological wellbeing. I believe with the right support anything you want to be is possible. I am here to help you help your
