About

Supporting South Asian Adults Through Anxiety, Life Changes & Family Pressures — Let’s Navigate It Together I work with South Asian adults facing life transitions, cultural expectations, and intergenerational challenges. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where you can make sense of your experiences and take manageable steps forward. I’m Yasmin, a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), offering virtual therapy to adults across Ontario and Nova Scotia, with a focus on the South Asian community. I support individuals navigating anxiety, identity questions, life transitions, and the pressures of family and culture, including intergenerational challenges that can make relationships and self-understanding complex. My approach is warm, collaborative, and paced with care. I create a space where you can explore what feels heavy or confusing, without pressure to have everything figured out. Therapy is about building self-trust, understanding, and flexibility, not “fixing” yourself. I integrate person-centred, humanistic, CBT, solution-focused, and mindfulness-based approaches, adapting them to your needs. Together, we may focus on emotional awareness, practical coping strategies, or small, manageable steps forward when life feels overwhelming. Starting therapy can feel intimidating — you don’t need clear goals or the “right words.” I offer a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit. I offer a rate of $160 per session. If you wish to book a session or schedule a consultation call, please feel free to reach out through my website or here. I look forward to connecting with you!
