My professional career started by training and qualifying, in 1989, as a Registered General Nurse within the NHS. I initially worked in general medicine and then specialised in cardio-thoracic medicine. In 1992, I further specialised in sexual health and worked in NHS sexual health clinics for just over thirty years. My psychotherapy career started in 1995 with a “Certificate in Counselling Skills and Attitudes” followed by a “Diploma in Counselling Skills – Access” in 1996.
