About

I am a registered clinical psychologist and have a private practice in Kenridge, Northern Suburbs Cape Town. I completed my undergraduate and postgraduate training at the University of Pretoria. I subsequently gained training at a psychiatric hospital and a district government hospital. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults dealing with a range of difficulties including: depression, bipolar, loss and bereavement, anxiety, psychosomatic concerns, trauma, day to day stress, eating disorders, relationship difficulties, work difficulties, separation issues, loneliness, behavioural problems, addiction, sexuality issues, various forms of abuse etc. I also enjoy working with people who seek general emotional growth or personal development. The approach I use is mainly psychodynamic in orientation, which attempts to work with the core issue and aims for long-term change, not merely symptom reduction.
