Internationally trained in Sexuality & Relational Trauma, I work with couples and individuals who yearn for intimacy, connection and sexual pleasure. My special interest is in betrayal trauma, specifically infidelity. My academic qualifications include MA (Clinical Social Work) Family Therapy, AASECT (American Association of Sex Educators Counsellors and Therapists) Sex Therapist, Doctorate in Human Sexuality (USA), Certified Trauma Therapist, Certified Level 1 Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Informed Psychedelic Assisted Therapist, specifically KAP (Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapist). After many years in my therapy chair, I remain fascinated and passionate about intimacy, sexuality and relationships. Using trauma-informed approaches to sexual and relationship healing, I explore techniques and practices from Sensorimotor Psychotherapy , Polyvagal Theory and Narrative Therapy. I invite clients to imagine and create comfortability and ease in their bodies as they work through intimacy trauma , within the containment of my therapy room. As a Family Therapist, parenting and family systems repair and reconstruction work form a core part of my practice.
