I am a passionate Registered Counsellor and Psychometrist based in Rustenburg. I offer psychological counselling to teenagers, adults and couples in a safe and non-judgmental environment, thus facilitating optimal functioning in their individual lives. My specialties include working with trauma, relationships difficulties and bereavement. As individuals experience a wide range of problems, my approach to counseling is goal oriented and solution focused. Depending on the client’s problem, a combination of therapeutic techniques including positive CBT, person-centred approach, ecosystemic approach, narrative therapy, solutions focused therapy and reality therapy are applied in the therapeutic process. My credentials include BA Honours in Psychology attained at the University of Pretoria, the registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPSCA) in the category of Registered Counsellor and Psychometrist Independent Practice, and the Board of Health Care Funders for Private Practice.
