I hold a master's degree and currently studying to obtain my PhD in clinical psychology from Cairo University. I am a licensed psychotherapist from the Egyptian ministry of health and a member of the board of directors for the Egyptian Psychotherapists Association. I was the counselling centre coordinator in an NGO working with refugees and asylum seekers. My practice lies in skills training approaches which teach you the needed skills to build the life you want for yourself. Starting from how to be aware of your thought process, modifying beliefs about yourself, others and the world to emotion regulation, interpersonal skills, mindfulness, stress tolerance and finally, acceptance, exploring and sticking to values and taking committed actions towards your personal goals.
