Anindita Biswas is a psychiatric social worker and psychotherapist with over a decade of experience in the mental health field and more than six years of dedicated psychotherapy practice. She approaches mental health through a holistic, trauma-informed, and socially conscious lens—deeply attuned to the complex interaction between neurobiology and social context. Her work is rooted in the belief that healing is both personal and political. As one of the pioneers in developing Dalit-affirmative therapeutic interventions, and having both a Dalit and neurodivergent identity, she brings a uniquely nuanced understanding of how caste, neurodivergence, and other social identities intersect to shape mental health. Her practice is deeply rooted in caste-aware, intersectional, queer-affirmative and neurodivergent-affirmative approaches that honor the lived realities of marginalized communities.
