As a Counseling Psychologist, psychotherapist my orientation is towards a psychodynamic approach in the clinic. I hold faith in the relational dynamic that plays out in the clinic which helps in the re-experiencing of patterns we repeat throughout our lives. I do not label people into the umbrella of diagnosis but rather believe that every way of being is unique and depends on the individual's culture and history. Childhood experiences for me are the forefront of an individual's later life experiences and hence trauma remains at the center of my approach.
