I am a psychologist and a psychotherapist with a psychoanalytic and psychodynamic orientation. My training in psychoanalytic orientation was provided by Sigmund Freud University in Vienna in collaboration with the Albanian Association of Psychotherapy. I am a member of the Albanian Association for Psychotherapy. In addition, I am a professor at the Department of Social Work and Social Policy, of the Faculty of Social Sciences in the University of Tirana for the last 20 years. I hold a Bachelor degree in Clinical Psychology from the Department of Psychology, of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, a Master of Science in “Counselling Psychology” and a PhD focusing on the psychosocial wellbeing of cancer caregivers.
