Having worked with many clients/children who have experienced trauma, safety within the room and the therapeutic relationship is paramount. Welcoming clients with a warm and nurturing approach and by providing clear descriptions of a plan and contract creates that safe environment and foundation for therapy. Having worked clinically with many children and families, I have well developed observation and assessments skills, allowing me to quickly attune to the child, parents and needs involved.
