Pamati means listen in Cebuano. I am of mixed Asian ancestry, including Filipino, Chinese and Vietnamese. I was born in Toronto, the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples. My pronouns are she/her/they/them and I identify with the LGBTQ2s community. The intersectional movements of MeToo, MMWGI, Black Lives Matter and FreePalestine inform my work.
