What are your hopes and fears about therapy? Finding a therapist with who you can build a collaborative relationship is essential--a person who understands, ...
My hope is to create a space where you feel safe enough to explore your story and where your struggles are seen. By acknowledging and addressing the unique ways systemic oppression, cultural factors, and past traumas shape each person’s experience, healing feels possible. My work is always filtered through a lens that prioritizes empowerment, dignity, and the understanding that each person’s narrative is valid and important. My approach is eclectic, drawing from modalities such as CBT, DBT and ACT. I am also trained in somatic-based approaches such as IFS and EMDR. Therapy isn’t about fixing you. It’s about helping you untangle what’s weighing you down so you can feel more at ease, more whole, and more you. I’d be honoured to walk with you on that journey.
