I support women in reawakening, remembering, and reclaiming their power. I work from a trauma-integrative perspective, taking into account the diversity of humans and our experiences. We all experience pains in our lifetime, and for some of us the pain started in childhood. I know it takes strength and courage to reach out for support. We enter therapy hoping for deeper insight and healing by telling our story. We prepare to be vulnerable in a safe space to heal our wounds. I am the owner of Solidarity Therapy. We feel honoured to provide a welcoming, and healing space for clients. I know it takes courage and consistency to create change; we redefine ourselves through the healing journey. I support clients to draw from their strengths, and to start showing up for themselves. I believe that mental wellness is tied to belonging. We find meaning in contributing to our communities, and I advocate for a society where we all are included. At Solidarity Therapy, we are committed to making counselling accessible. Currently, we offer low-cost counselling at $50 per session through our practicum student, Lakshmi Nair, who is directly supervised by myself as the clinic’s lead therapist. https://www.solidaritytherapy.ca/about-lakshmi
